Millennium Technologies and Revolution Performance Product Assurance Policy
Millennium Technologies and Revolution Performance (“the Company”) provide the following limited assurance terms applicable to products and services manufactured or performed directly by the Company. By purchasing or utilizing Company products or services, the customer (“Purchaser”) agrees to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
Limited Lifetime Plating Guarantee
The Company guarantees its proprietary Nickel Silicon Carbide (NSC) plating process against adhesion failure for the lifetime of the component, under normal operating conditions and proper usage. This guarantee is non-transferable and applies solely to the original Purchaser. Items must be purchased direct from Millennium Technologies. If purchased from a certified dealer of Millennium Technologies, end user must take cylinder back to said dealer.
The following conditions and events are excluded from coverage:
– Damage to plating caused by machining not performed by the Company
– Damage resulting from improper engine assembly or installation
– Detonation, pre-ignition, or operation under excessively lean fuel conditions
– Operating temperatures exceeding 400°F (204°C)
– Mechanical or component failure of any kind
– Improper or negligent maintenance practices
– Physical damage or impact
– Cast iron components plated with NSC
Labor Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Millennium Technologies and Revolution Performance expressly disclaim any and all liability for labor-related costs, including installation, removal, reinstallation, tuning, diagnostics, or inspection.
The Company’s responsibility is limited to the repair or replacement of the affected product originally manufactured or sold under the Millennium Technologies or Revolution Performance brand.
No other guarantees, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, shall apply. The Company does not extend coverage to third-party components, consumables, or OEM parts.
Specification Guarantee
The Company guarantees that all machining and component work (including cylinders, heads, and crankshafts) will be completed in accordance with standard industry practices and/or customer-supplied specifications.
– If a component is determined, upon receipt, to fall outside these specifications, the Company will, at its sole discretion, correct the issue at no charge and cover return shipping.
– The Company shall not be held liable for damage to components beyond those serviced, or for any consequential damages arising from improper fitment or specification errors.
– It is the Purchaser’s responsibility to confirm all specifications before installation.
Cosmetic Appearance Disclaimer
The Company hereby disclaims any and all warranties, representations, or guarantees—express or implied—regarding the cosmetic appearance of any cylinder, component, or product following the performance of processing services, including but not limited to powder coating, plating, machining, or any other finishing or surface‑treatment operations.
Cosmetic irregularities—such as discoloration, outgassing marks, surface blemishes, pinholes, porosity‑related artifacts, or other visual inconsistencies—may manifest due to characteristics, contaminants, or latent conditions inherent in the base material. Such conditions may arise from oils, gases, porosity, inclusions, or other variables introduced during the original casting or manufacturing process. These factors are outside the Company’s control and fall solely within the responsibility of the original casting manufacturer or foundry.
As the Company is not the original casting manufacturer or foundry, it expressly assumes no liability for any cosmetic outcome influenced, caused, or exacerbated by material‑related conditions present prior to the Company’s processing.
All such cosmetic conditions are deemed non‑functional in nature and shall have no bearing on the performance, structural integrity, durability, or operational suitability of the component. Variations in cosmetic appearance between components—regardless of whether similar parts appear visually acceptable—shall not constitute evidence of defect, nonconformity, or deviation from specification, as casting quality and material composition inherently vary from part to part.
Cosmetic conditions that do not impair performance or operation shall not be classified as defects and shall not qualify for repair, rework, replacement, credit, refund, or any other form of remedy or compensation under this Product Assurance Policy.
Repair Services on Previously Damaged Components
Repair services (e.g., welding, machining, combustion chamber repair) are covered only under the applicable Specification Guarantee and Limited Lifetime Plating Guarantee. No further assurance applies to the structural or functional integrity of previously compromised parts.
Cylinder Head Assembly & Engine Assembly
The Company provides assurance for cylinder head assembly or rebuilt engine services only when installation and tuning are performed in-house.
When completed by the Company, a 30-day or 500-mile workmanship guarantee (whichever occurs first) applies solely to those services.
All specifications and clearances must be verified by the Purchaser prior to engine operation. The Company assumes no liability for components installed or tuned by third parties.
Parts Policy
No coverage is provided for parts not manufactured by Millennium Technologies or Revolution Performance.
This includes OEM parts, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, valve train components, and gaskets.
Such parts are subject solely to the assurances (if any) provided by their respective manufacturers.
Used Piston Policy
The Company strongly advises against the use of worn or collapsed pistons in newly serviced or replated cylinders. Bore sizes are not adjusted for used pistons, and improper fitment can result in failure.
There is no coverage for cylinders plated or serviced using a used piston.
Cast Iron Cylinder Policy
Due to the variable nature of cast iron alloys and their tendency to retain embedded oil, successful plating adhesion cannot be guaranteed. While the Company maintains an approximate 90% success rate, results may vary.
The Company does not guarantee NSC plating applied to cast iron cylinders or aluminum blocks with cast iron sleeves. The recommended repair method is overboring or sleeve replacement.
No Refund / Credit Policy
All sales and services are final.
If a product or service is deemed eligible for compensation under this Product Assurance Policy, the Company may, at its sole discretion, offer either:
- A replacement product or service, or
- An in-house account credit toward future work or purchases.
No cash or credit card refunds will be provided.
90-Day Inspection and Verification Period
The Purchaser shall have a period of ninety (90) days from the date of delivery to inspect and verify that all products are correct, complete, and suitable for their intended application. It is the Purchaser’s responsibility to confirm all specifications and usability prior to installation. Any concerns, discrepancies, or defects must be reported to Millennium Technologies within this 90-day period for review. Failure to provide notice within this timeframe may limit eligibility for evaluation or remedy.
General Disclaimer
This coverage is void if any product has been altered, misused, improperly installed, or subjected to conditions for which it was not designed. No representative or agent of the Company is authorized to modify these terms.
Before returning any component for evaluation, please complete and submit the Product Evaluation Request Form. Parts received without a completed form will not be processed.
By purchasing, installing, or using any product or service from Millennium Technologies or Revolution Performance, the Purchaser acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Product Assurance Policy.
All disputes arising under or in connection with this policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
